The cleanup will take place on the Jacks Fork River. For the cleanup, choose one of three float routes:
Bay Creek to Alley Spring, Alley Spring to Eminence, Eminence to Two Rivers
Bay Creek to Alley Spring and Alley Spring to Eminence will put into the water at 10:00 AM while Eminence to Two Rivers will put into the water at 9:00 AM. Make sure to arrive in time to complete sign-in forms and a river safety briefing. All floats are estimated to end between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. This is a bring-your-own vessel and self-shuttle event, and local outfitters are available for shuttle and vessel rental services. Self-shuttle is encouraged, but limited shuttling assistance could be available. Email scenicrivers@streamteamsunited.org to inquire.

Join us at the afterparty for music, food, prizes, and to honor our River Legends! The cleanup will have an afterparty that starts at 5:00 PM at On the Rock Bar and Grill pavilion in Eminence, MO. The free drawing for the kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device will take place at the afterparty. Information for the drawing will be collected at the afterparty. Directions for each of the float routes are as follows:
Bay Creek Directions: Float sign-in will be at the Bay Creek campground at the confluence of Bay Creek and the Jacks Fork River. The coordinates for the confluence are 37.1211, -91.5046. To get to the campground, starting in Eminence, drive west on Highway 106. After about 9.7 miles, turn left onto County Road 106-425. Stay straight on the main path as it heads into the woods. Follow the gravel road for just over 2 miles, until it runs into Bay Creek. This route requires driving on gravel roads for about 2 miles. Alley Spring Directions: Float sign-in will take place at the Burr Oak Picnic Pavilion near Alley Spring. The coordinates for the Burr Oak Picnic Pavilion are 37.1488, -91.4403. To get to the Burr Oak Pavilion, from Eminence, drive west on Highway 106. After about 5.6 miles, and crossing the Jacks Fork River bridge, turn right onto County Road 106-308. After turning onto County Road 106-308, do not turn left into the large parking lot for Alley Spring and the Alley Spring Picnic Pavilion. Instead, turn right down a smaller road that quickly becomes gravel and takes you to the Burr Oak pavilion next to a massive gravel bar.
Eminence Directions: Float sign-in will be at the Joshua T. Chilton Memorial Landing in Eminence, MO. The coordinates for the Joshua T. Chilton Memorial Landing are 37.1524, -91.3541. To get to the Landing, in Eminence at the junction of Highways 19/106 just south of the Jacks Fork River, take Highway 106 east less than 0.10 mile to the area on the north side of Highway 106.
Camping
Looking to camp before the Jacks Fork River Cleanup? FREE cluster site camping is available at Alley Spring Campground in Loop 400, sites 402 and 425! This campground has flush toilets and shower facilities available April 15 through October 15. Roads and parking spurs are paved. The campsites will be available for check-in on Friday, September 25th after 1:00 PM. Check-out of the campsite by 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 27th. Alley Spring Campground Directions:
Alley Spring Campground is located 6 miles west of Eminence, MO. From Eminence, head west on State Highway 106. Around the 6-mile mark, right after you pass a store, there will be a left turn for the campground. Turn here and follow the road.
